1.     What do understand by the term ‘Adivasi’?
Ansa: The term Adivasi means people original inhabitants. It means people who lived, and continue to live in the forest. In other words forest dwellers are called Adivasi. 
2.     What is ‘Torang’?
Ans: Torang means jungle in Kuduk language. Suryamani opened a center which she named as Torang. In this Centre, traditions, festivals, culture and language of Kuduk tribe is taught.
3.     Why it is difficult to take cut rice crop home in Mizoram?
Ansa: It is difficult to take cut rice crop home because there is no road In Mizoram. People have to carry crop on their back. This also take many weeks.
4.     Why is Suryamani considered as a star child?
Ans: Suryamani belonged to a very backward tribe.
She passed her school and college and joined many movements to save jungle.
She also worked a lot for the rights of the village people.
She opened a center to keep her culture alive.
